Tara Hitchman - Tour Manager

Tara Hitchman
After graduating from the music business program at Durham College, Tara spent the majority of her days mothering musicians on the road as a tour manager for the likes of Protest the Hero, Jesse Labelle, Sandman Viper Command, and Emily Osment. She has worked production for massive festivals like Edgefest in Toronto and held office positions at Wax Records and E1. Tara's ability to work hard under pressure and never show a sign of stress made Sari (Audio Blood's president) feel warm and fuzzy inside… so really it was a natural fit and in 2011 Tara officially joined the Audio Blood family.

Stefan Babcock

Stefan Babcock

Stefan Babcock holds the position of Marketing Coordinator at Arts & Crafts Productions, one of Canada's leading full-service, independent music companies.  Working with artists such as Feist, Broken Social Scene and Dan Mangan, his duties include liaising with project and artist managers to create and execute marketing plans, while also managing the company's efforts to secure funding for these initiatives via various Canadian grant programs.  Stefan is part of a team that is emphasizes and develops new and innovative approaches to artist development.

Stefan is a graduate of Ryerson's Radio & TV program, and draws from a long history of DIY show promotion, tour management, and performance to develop a well-rounded industry perspective. He got his first taste of life on the road at age 17 while playing in and managing a reckless and dysfunctional ska band called Stop Drop.  He then began tour managing various local bands before landing at Arts & Crafts.  His first assignment at A&C was to spend 3 months straight on the road with Zeus, Jason Collett, and Bahamas.  That's a long time to be on the road in a small sweaty van with six other large, sweaty dudes.  It was fun, but tough, and also, Stefan crashed Jason Collett's tour van. That was not good.

Stefan has since managed several short tours for local bands, and currently plays in, manages, and tours with up-and-coming Toronto indie rock band, Topanga.
